As a guide, we recommend the following books for our Year 6 children to read and love. Many of these books are used as reading and English texts within the classroom to ensure our children received a wide variety of culturally diverse and classic reading material to stimulate their writing, enhance comprehension and develop children's oracy skills in preparation for KS3.
