Little Kingfisher Day Nursery Graduation Ceremony

On Wednesday we had a lovely Graduation Ceremony for our children who will be leaving us at the end of this term and starting school in September.

 

We hope you all enjoyed the ceremony and agree that the children all looked wonderful in their gowns and mortar boards!

Official Opening of Little Kingfisher's Day Nursery

On Friday 28th June 2019 Little Kingfisher's Day Nursery was officially opened by Martin Gwillam from Blesma. Blesma, The Limbless Veterans is a British charity that helps all serving and ex-Service men and women who have lost limbs, or lost the use of limbs or eyes, to rebuild their lives by providing rehabilitation activities and welfare support. Martin spoke to the children and did a show and tell with his medals.

 

The children then celebrated with parents and staff by enjoying a tea party in the lovely sunshine.

Welly Walk

The children enjoyed some time outside on the recent welly walk.

Spring 

The children have been learning about spring and growing. They have had a lovely time planting cress.

Building the Willow Dome

The children helped to measure and dig the foundations for the new Willow dome and tunnel.

Science Day

On the recent Science Day we had at the nursery, we made slime, which everyone loved! we created a volcano and we took part in lots of activities involving bubbles.

World Book Day

The children all looked wonderful in their lovely costumes for World Book Day.
