Dogs Trust visit

On Monday 21st January,  Minnow class had a visit from Dogs Trust. Emily brought along her black labrador Buster to help teach us how to care for dogs.

Literacy - Noah Arks

In class we have been busy learning and writing about Noah's Ark.

PE - Practicing balancing!

Harvest Assembly and craft afternoon

During Harvest Assembly and craft afternoon we sang for our grown ups and then enjoyed an afternoon of crafts with them. We made clay hedgehogs, did conker paint rolling and leaf rubbing. We also made scarecrow faces.

Forest School

During Forest School, Minnow Class made homes for a hedgehog out of natural resources that they found.

They designed an outfit for a fairy or elf and had to make a shape using found natural items. We had lots of parents and carers with us to help!

Maths practical session

The children weighed some toys and other items during their practical maths session looking at lighter/heavier.

Shop Role Play

The children enjoyed role play shops whilst getting some fresh air.

Building Ramps

The children built ramps for the cars they had constructed in continuous play.

Postman visit

Minnow Class have enjoyed a visit from Mr Pitman, the Postman. He told the children what happens at Christmas at the Post Office. The children really enjoyed helping him to sort letters, parcels and special deliveries!
